The AC powered Clipper Brake is compact, lightweight, reliable, and easy to install.
"The Clipper Brakes" use springs to provide brake force, and electromagnets to open the brake pads. The brakes close when the power is cut, so they provide increased safety even in emergency situations and power outages. The braking torque can easily be set from 50 to 100% using a single adjustment bolt.
